What shipment options do we offer?

  1. Shipment within Malaysia
    • Free within East and West Malaysia. 
    • Shipment cost is applicable for Aipo Dry cabinet purchases to East Malaysia.
    • Pentax2u.com has the right to choose the shipment service provider based on weight, price and urgency. 
    • All our shipment comes with Shipment Tracking id for buyer to track the shipment.
  2. Meet-up at Penang
    • This option is only applicable to Penang area.
    • After placing the order, customer should send us an email advising the preferred meet-up location
    • This is not CASH ON DELIVERY. Payment needs to be cleared prior to actual meeting.
    • Pentax2U.com has the right to decline the request for items that are too heavy for such arrangement. For example heavy Dry Box. Cameras, lenses or lighter items are supportable.
  3. Self-collection at Petaling Jaya for Pentax, Ricoh and Tamron Products 
    • This is only applicable to Original Pentax, Ricoh and Tamron items such as Pentax cameras, lenses and its accessories.
    • If you plan to buy a mixture of Pentax items with non-Pentax gears etc Pentax lens with Sigma lens, we suggest you seperate the purchase into two orders for us to better support you.
    • If the purchase contains Free Gifts from our store, the free gifts may still be delivered to your order's Ship-to address.
    • Buyer needs to email us at sales@pentax2u.com your Full Name ( if it's different from your order) and IC number/ Passport number. We will verify these two details with your IC/ Passport during the collection before releasing the goods to you. We may photostate your IC/ Passport for filing purpose.
    • When your items are ready for collection, we will email you the necessary information etc Contact person, Tel, Address for you to drop by to self-collect the goods.
    • Please allow at least 3 working hours processing time of your order (after payment clearance) before you visit our collection office.
    • Collection time is from 10:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday excluding Public Holiday.
    • We will request you to sign off the Delivery Order (aka DO) prior to releasing the goods to you.
    • This is not CASH ON DELIVERY. Unless otherwise agreed, payment needs to be cleared prior to any arrangement.
  4. International shipment - POS Malaysia Air Parcel
    • Typical shipment lead time is about 1-2 weeks
    • Comes with Shipment Tracking ID
    • Buyer is responsible for any Import Duty and clearance.
    • Limited to item weight (individual/ combined) less than 5kg.
    • For countries not listed, kindly contact us so that we can support you.
  5. Self-collection at Petaling Jaya for Sigma Products
    • This is only applicable to Original Sigma products.
    • If you plan to buy a mixture of Sigma items with non-Sigma gears etc Pentax lens with Sigma lens, we suggest you seperate the purchase into two orders for us to better support you.
    • If the purchase contains Free Gifts from our store, the free gifts may still be delivered to your order's Ship-to address.

Is the product prices and promotion negotiable?

We offer very competitive prices that encompasses warranty and shipment. However, we welcome you to contact us for negotiation.

All promotions listed  in our store are for a limited time only and are subject to change without prior notice.


I am not able to find the product I am looking for, what should I do?
You can contact us at sales@pentax2u.com. We will be more than happy to help you.


How soon should I pay for the order after placing it?
All payment for the order placed must be cleared within 2 working days. Otherwise, the order is considered void and will be cancelled. The store has the right to ban customer who did not release the payment after placing an order. Communication is critical, we will be more than happy to extend the time as long as the customer contact us.

Why am I facing "Incomplete Order" status issue?
Most of the common reason is because customers forgot to click the "Click here to confirm the purchase" or "Paypal" button at the Checkout > Payment page. Without selecting the button, an order will be generated but not completed.

What payment method does the store provide?

We offer

  1. PAYPAL Credit Card payment.
  2. ATM, Cheque, Telegraphic Transfer or online transfer payment (etc Maybank2U or pbebank.com) to our Local Bank Accounts.
  3. For Singapore and Brunei Customers- Maybank RegionLink-Online Funds Transfer or Maybank RegionLink Instant Funds Transfer to our Maybank account. More details HERE and HERE
  4. For Singapore Customers- Deposit to our Singpore POSB Account.

 

We do Disable our Paypal facility from time to time for better security risk management. If you do not see paypal option in the payment screen, kindly contact us so that we can support you.


To prevent credit card fraud, orders with Paypal payment of below status will not be accepted. We will reject the order/ payment.

- Unregistered or unverified Paypal account.

- Payment through Paypal but requested self-collection of the goods. All Paypal order must be shipped through courier. No self collection available.

- Order's ship-to address different from Paypal's ship-to address.

- Any details that may lead us to believe there is a fraud risk in the order/payment

 

At times, we may enable the feature to allow us Manually Approve/ Accept your Paypal payment. This means your paypal payment will be validated by us prior to acceptance. We may request more information from you to support the acceptance or reject your paypal payment if necessary.

For payment through our Singpore POSB Account, we will email you our POSB account and the converted SGD value of your order after receiving your order. We typically refer to the latest exchange rate at http://www.xe.com/ 

For payment through our banks, after the ATM, Cheque, Telegraphic Transfer or online bank transfer to our bank account, please email to billing@pentax2u.com or fax to us below information

  1. The bank slip.
  2. Your Pentax2u.com Order Reference Number for this payment.
  3. Date and time of bank in

 

Alternatively, you may upload the Bank Slip to your Order at Pentax2u.com. Just goto to Your Account Area > View Previous Order > click "View" at the Order Reference Number > scroll down for Upload Payment Slip. We recommend this method since it's simple and efficient.

Note: 

  1. For Telegraphic Transfer, buyer pays all bank transaction fees/charges.
  2. Order will only be processed after the cheque is cleared or cash is deposited.

Why am I not able to sign in to my account?
During your account registration phase, an email with verification link will be sent to your registered email address. You need to click that link to complete the verification process. Incomplete process will result user not able to sign into his/her account.

Is there any Paypal Administrative Fees?
Yes. All payments through paypal will be subjected to 3.9% paypal administrative fee (aka transaction/ payment charges) unless there is special promotion or waiver program. Alternatively, you can bank in your payment to our Hong Leong Bank, Public Bank or Maybank Account to avoid the fee.


Does the store do walk-in retailing?
We are not open for retailing or walk-in customer. We do only online retailing. You may also call us.

 
Does the store offer installment program?
No. We do not offer such facility for the time being.

 

Does the store accept trade in?
No. We do not offer such facility for the time being.


Does the store do international sales?
We do ship internationally. If your country is not listed here (you will not be able to complete the order if your country is not in our database), kindly contact us at sales@pentax2u.com for arrangement. We use POS Malaysia Air Parcel with shipment tracking id or POS Malaysia EMS for all international shipments.

Buyer is responsible for any Custom Clearance or Tax at buyer's side. Buyer is accountable to request us to purchase insurance coverage for the shipment. Please advise us should you wish to purchase insurance so that we can support you seperately.

It's important to take note we can only influence the Transit Time (time taken from our courier service provider's location to airport at receiving end) of the released shipment. It is not within our control as to the duration taken for the Custom Clearance. We encourage buyer to consult with his/her local postal service to understand the clearance lead time.


Does the store provide International Warranty Coverage?
We will help you to apply for such warranty coverage but it’s case by case basis.


Is the shipment cost free of charge?
We offer Free Shipment unless otherwise specified in the product listings. International purchases will incur shipment cost. 


How fast will the shipment be released?
We typically take about 2-3 working days to release the shipment after payment clearance. We will subsequently inform the customer about the shipment information. Like wise, if there is any shipment delay, we will promptly inform the customers too.

All payment made should be in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR)

I am not able to see the Next Button at the checkout shipping mode page?
This is probably because your country is in our shipment coverage or the total shipping weight is more than system acceptable tolerance for the selection shipment option. Just drop us an email and we will be able to support you.
